Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS) offers you the opportunity to work in a faith-based, collaborative environment where everyone's skills, knowledge and attributes are respected. As part of Alberta's publicly-funded education system, we proudly serve the communities of Camrose, Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, Strathcona County and Vegreville.
We have 18 Catholic Schools throughout the Division serving over 7,800 students. Our Central Learning Services building is located in Sherwood Park, where the Superintendent of Schools and a team of administrators provide service to our schools, staff, and students. As well, within our Central Learning Services building we have the new St. Isidore Learning Centre which provides alternative education including: Outreach Centre, Home Education and online through our Genesis Online school.
Our Mission is to develop educational opportunities within the context of Gospel values. Guided by the Doctrine of the Catholic Church, our Board has a preference for employing Catholic staff.
