Elk Island Catholic Schools (EICS) warmly welcomes students and families to the 2012-2013 school year.  As part of Alberta's publicly-funded education system, we proudly serve the communities, and surrounding areas, of Camrose, Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, Strathcona County, and Vegreville.

At EICS, our mission is to develop educational opportunities in the context of Gospel values. Quality, Catholic education programming for grades Kindergarten to 12 ensures all students' gifts and talents are celebrated and nurtured through lifelong spiritual and personal experiences.  In our faith-based learning environment, students strive towards excellence in state-of-the-art educational facilities. Opportunities abound in academics, athletics, fine arts, and cultural and leadership programs. Through the efforts of our caring and dedicated staff, students become valuable community members - before and after graduation.

Throughout EICS, Special Education Programming is available to help all our students reach their full potential. We offer individualized programs that emphasize a range of interventions, depending on a young person's unique needs to help maintain the student in an inclusive setting.  Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year and to our Elk Island Catholic Schools family!
