Collaboarative Response Coordinators
Elk Island Catholic Schools welcomes all students and provides an equal opportunity for all students to achieve success according to their unique potential within the context of the most enabling learning environment.
In each school, the Collaborative Response Coordinator provides leadership, assistance, and support in meeting the needs of all students. This challenging role has three major components:
- identification and assessment,
- consultation and coordination and,
- direct service to students and teachers.
The amount of time spent on each component varies from school to school, based on the needs of individual students, the strengths and needs of school staff members, and the unique resources available within each school community.
