2010 School Board Election
The 2010 School Board Election is October 18 2010. This is your opportunity to get involved in public education - by voting or running as a candidate for Catholic school trustee.
Elk Island Catholic Schools, part of Alberta's public education system, serves the communities of Camrose, Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park/ Strathcona County and Vegreville. There are 16 schools throughout the school division and over 5,800 students.
The EICS Board of Trustees is comprised of seven representatives:
Sherwood Park Ward 1, Sherwood Park Electoral Subdivision 1 - 4 Trustees (at large) Sherwood Park Ward 1, Camrose Electoral Subdivision 2 - 1 Trustee Sherwood Park Ward 1, Vegreville Electoral Subdivision 3 - 1 Trustee Fort Saskatchewan Ward 2 - 1 Trustee
Important Dates:
September 20, 2010 - Nomination Day - the deadline to submit your nomination papers is between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. October 18, 2010 - Election Day
